The Legal Docs widget enables you to display privacy, shipping, return policies, terms and conditions, and other legal information on your website. It is designed to provide a convenient and user-friendly way to view, navigate, and engage with legal information.
Adding a Legal Docs Widget
Once you have created a legal document (see Settings > Lega Docs), it is automatically presented in the Legal Docs widget in a non-editable mode. You need to add a Legal Docs widget to display the information on the website.
To add a Legal Docs widget:
- Go to the Visual Editor from the Sales Channels on the Dashboard Left Panel.
- Go to the system pages on the Top Panel and select the corresponding page.
- Navigate to the Widgets list on the left sidebar.
- Type the widget name in the search bar.
- Drag and drop the Legal Docs widget from the list onto the desired crafting area of the Layout Canvas.
Configuring the Legal Docs Widget
Once you have added the Legal Docs widget, click the widget to activate the Property Panel where you can customize its Styles and Settings according to your preferences.
To modify the Legal Docs widget:
- Go to Styles to make the necessary configuration of principal styling features (see Global Styles).
- Go to Settings to modify the visibility of the widget on your website. Specifically select who can view the widget according to the customer’s location, session status, type of used device, browser, language preference, etc. (see Visibility Settings).
