Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security, making it more difficult for unauthorized users to access your account. Even if they manage to obtain the password, they still need access to the second factor to gain entry. You can verify your account with two-factor authentication ensuring the security of your account.
Getting Started
To activate two-factor authentication, you need to use authenticator apps to generate codes. To do so, download your preferred authenticator app on your mobile device and follow the setup instructions.
Activating Two-factor Authentication in Ucraft Next
- Click on your account name in the upper right corner of the Dashboard.
- Go to Account Settings > Security > Two-factor Authentication.
- Click Activate.
4. Enter your password in the pop-up window that opens and click Confirm.
5. Scan the QR code or use the secret key.
6. Enter the 6-digit code generated in the authenticator app.
7. Click Activate.
8. Save the single-use recovery codes for verification.
Tip:
- To generate new codes, click Regenerate Codes.
- To see recovery codes, click See Recovery Codes on your Two-factor Authentication page.
Logging in with Two-factor Authentication
- Go to Ucraft Next sign-in page.
- Enter your email and password.
- Enter the 6-digit code into the sign-in page generated in the authenticator app.
- Click Submit.
Deactivating Two-factor Authentication
- Click on your account name in the upper-right corner of your Dashboard.
- Go to Account Settings > Security > Two-factor Authentication.
- Click Deactivate and confirm the action.
- Enter your password in the pop-up window that opens and click Confirm.
