The Digital Product Widgets grouping includes the widgets referring to all digital products. The grouping is designed to facilitate the distribution, sale, and management of various digital products and content.
Adding a Digital Product Widget
After creating the product, you can add its related widgets.
To add the Digital Product Widgets:
- Go to the Visual Editor by clicking Design on the Dashboard top panel or by navigating from Dashboard > Channels > Design.
- Open Pages > Ecommerce > Digital Product page.
- Navigate to the Widgets list on the Visual Editor Left Panel.
- Type the widget name in the search bar, or expand the Ecommerce > Digital Product Widgets grouping and select the corresponding widget.
Drag the widget from the list and drop it into the Product List widget.
Tip: To use the Digital Products Widgets, make sure to drop the Product List widget onto the Layout Canvas and drop your required widget from the grouping.
Configuring the Digital Product Widgets
You can configure and edit all the widgets under this grouping using the widget Styles and Settings on the Property Panel.
- Go to Styles to modify the necessary configuration of general styling features (see Global Styles). Global Styles are predefined style settings that can be applied to widgets across the website. They provide a constant appearance by defining default styles for all the widget types.
- Go to Settings, expand Visibility, and select who can view the widget according to the customer’s location, session status, type of used device, browser, language preference, etc. (see Visibility Settings).
Tip:
- To get more widgets in the widget list of the Visual Editor, you need to add the product-related fields from the Dashboard > Products > Fields.
- To drop the product-related widgets within the Product List, hold down the CTRL while doing so.
Add to Cart
The Add to Cart widget allows your customers to add a product to their shopping cart, making it easy for them to begin the purchase process. For more details, see Add to Cart Widget.
Files
The Files widget displays the digital product with its options, that you have created or uploaded from Products. The product-related information is sourced from the Purchased Item Files of the Dashboard > Products, where you configure and provide all the necessary information, which can be in the form of a URL or a file, including the product name.
Once you have added the Files widget, you can modify its Styles (Global Styles) and Settings (Visibility Settings).
